Encaustication is the culmination of years of dreaming about art, while working hard at everything BUT art. In 2011, Encaustication was born after an inspiring experience in Salem, Oregon with an assortment of talented encaustic artists from all over the country….EncaustiCamp was an experience that woke me out of my dream and made me believe it could become a reality.
Encaustication is a working mixed media and encaustic wax painting studio, and the home of “8 is Enough” workshops. No matter the medium or the instructor, eight is always enough when it comes to attendees. This ensures you will have a rich, intimate and rewarding experience every time, because our workshops are always limited to 8.
In addition to "8 is Enough" workshops, you will also find my work available for sale. Combining my loves for handmade books, encaustic wax, and art journaling, my unique Encaustic Art Journals are the perfect gift for the creative person in your life.
